89 Days To Go
16 February 2008
My dearest,
I can’t wait for you to be home soon. Each day seems to be getting longer and longer, and I need to be more patient than ever.
More people are getting engaged, the most recent being Joash and Suchie. I think it’s about time for them too, since they were together a little longer than we are. But what makes me feel perplexed is that it’s difficult to start doing all the preparations before you come home — the dates, wedding logistics, the kitchen renovation, and many more other stuff, although it’s not impossible to start doing it of course, but I would rather when you are around. We should make decisions together, right?
I miss you so much now.
But, I’ll be seeing you in mid-May, when we go for our holiday again. This time, it should be very much different from last year’s since we’ll be hopping through countries instead. And, in case you say I didn’t buy you anything for Valentine’s, your flight ticket home was bought on the 14th of February (it’s printed on the reservation, so you can keep it or frame it up…it’s just paper anyway).
It’ll be a lot different if your flight home was on the 14th of February.
I miss you really a lot.
love,
John
