Happy Twenty-third
28 December 2005
Dearest Mei Sin,
This must have kept you waiting, and you must be really mad at me now. But I promise that I’ll write it and here it is, your belated birthday letter.
Time seems to pass by so fast, doesn’t it? Would you rather have time moving on so fast or you like it to crawl a bit slower? I have no idea. Maybe fast is good, but, I don’t want more responsibilities, hehe. Nobody wants of course. But, we don’t have a choice anyway. There’s a new phase of life waiting ahead, and I guess soon we’ll have to deal with that. Good thing is, we’ll go through it together.
I hope you liked both your birthday and Christmas presents. I promise not to buy anymore of “those” for the time being, I promise! Notice how our interest changed from time to time? I think it’s time to go back to books and CDs, hehe.
Happy 23rd birthday dearie, and a blessed Christmas too!
Love,
John
P/s: I don’t like the word “belated” because it makes me look real bad.
