White Bread - Variation 1

Another BBA challenge.
This recipe can be found in pages 256 – 267 of The Bread Baker’s Apprentice. I am far ahead of the other BBA bakers, coz I jumped straight to the letter “W” (white bread), while the rest are baking according to alphabetical order.

This is how the texture of the bread should be after the 1st rise.

A versatile white bread…..for sandwiches, or as morning toasts!
