One month anniversary

Yup….. I’ve been in Vienna exactly one month now.

Current Mood Home sick? Well a bit.

Who do I miss the most? Who else? hehe. I also miss some of my 1st year friends who are now studying in other parts of Europe.

Reflection Wondering what this coming academic year holds for me? Whatever it is, I am dedicating it to the Lord, praying that it will be as enjoyable and as fruitful as the last!

Current spiritual health Quite healthy, PTL! I have been attending Vienna Christian Center for 4 consecutive weeks now. Will be attending one of their cell this coming Thursday.

Main concern at the moment Definitely my thesis.

Current level of German I’m still in the word guessing stage, just too lazy to carry a dictionary around. Still struggling to learn numbers in German. So far progress is slow, can only catch numbers below 10. Once above 10, I’ll be kelam-kabut (eg: at the cashier’s counter).
Zweiundzwanzig euro, dreiundfünfzig cent = 22.53 €!!

What have I been up to? Lectures, weekly dance lessons, church, being part of special celebrations like the Austrian National Day, a lot of walking and commuting, prolonged sleeping hours (it’s the weather…it makes u feel sleepy =p), and…..

Bolzano or Vienna? Definitely Vienna! I have dance classes and an English speaking church here! =)

What else do u want to know? =p

Wow….. Thanks for your blog. The benifits of writing a blog is that you can write everything for everyone to read, and you don’t have to repeat what you wish to tell us. In addtion, family members and your friends can still keep in contact with you. It is good to know all your status, physically, emotionally and spiritually are well. かんばって、姉。

Lisbon is beautiful but Bolzano is special. have you possibility to go and run in a place like talvera park there? I don’t think so

Hey Luca, what a pleasant surprise! I didn’t know you are one of the readers of my blog =p. Yeah u’re right. Each part of Europe is unique. Just Italy itself is full of different landscapes, from the Doloimiti mountains in the north, the hilly and scenic Tuscany in the middle and to the huge planes in the south…they are all simply charming =).

I definitely would like to visit Lisbon one day, to visit u and Rasha. U remember, I wanted to jog with u to Firmian Castle…too bad we didn’t have the time. There are nice parks to jog here, just that the weather is too cold, and most importantly, I don’t have buddies like u to jog with =(.

Wanted to go for ballroom, but I need a partner =p. Thought about salsa, tango and etc, but will probably do that next semester, when i have less classes.

Currently, i am attending the Fit & Dance class….it’s something like Body Jam in FitnessFirst. I get to do a mixture of stretching, aerobics and modern dance, quite nice leh.

Hey sweet girl! =)
I see you enjoy your time there. Dosens of pictures. And how you find so much time to see all these wonderful things!?

Dancing is a veeery nice thing. Actually, SCUB organized dances classes here in Bolzano. I liked first lectures and hope to learn all the main dances before we go to UNIBALL ;)

good that you are enjoying yourself in vienna…
i was about to ask you whether do you need to write a thesis to graduate your masters study….
i was hoping that one can graduate his masters without writing any papers…
where do you find time for all that?
kinna scary now, to consider to take a masters program…

#11phan  ::  6 November 2007, 19:11  ::  #

Diana: Nice to hear from you! I miss hanging out with u guys =( Ok I admit, Bolzano is not too bad too, because there i have great friends like u, Simonas, Tadas, Valdi, Olga, Eka, Nabil, and the list goes on and on. Oh ya, i forgot that SCUB has dances classes too =p Remember to take a lot of photos during Uniball!! Take care ya! Luv ya!

Yo Bro: Yalor…need to write thesis lar. I am a bit worried about it too, because whether or not i graduate depends on whether i can fullfil 120 credits and the thesis is 30 credits!!! U wanna pray for me on that? I am praying hard that I can have some good results in my thesis and student project. I miss u…..happy working =)
