It's great to get connected online!

I’ve always had internet connection when I was doing my bachelor study, and we would practically leave our computers on all the time, only occasionally restarting it. Internet was really a major part of my life and it’s still is =p. There’s more to it than just chatting with friends, the web is like a dictionary / encyclopedia, but without the hassle of finding index and finding the right page. All the ease of a click on the mouse.

It was really a struggle when I was working in Alliance Bank. There was only 1 internet connection shared with at least 10 people!!! The rational behind that policy is that Internet slows down productivity. In a way, I agree with that, but it all depends on the usage. Those 2 years plus for me was the “dark ages”.

Lately, I have been having a lot of free time, and I fully utilize them, doing stuff in the Cyberworld. I have visited so many of my friends’ blog, just reading their entries, and looking at their pictures. It’s great to catch up with my friends, to know how they look like now, what they’re doing, and what’s happening in their lives. And it’s also good to leave comments, to let them know that “hey, your old friend is here and she misses you.”

Thanks for all the comments. In a way, I feel close to you, despite being hundreds or thousands of mile away from home. =)

If you are an Internect “addict” like me, you will understand the loneliness and the apprehension of being cut-off from the world, by not having an Internet connection. Just like giving a pacifier to a crying baby, it works the same to me, by just giving me Internet.

So to all my friends out there, let’s keep in touch…in Cyberworld.
