I can't get enough of them!!

Weeks ago, Vienna was still in an array of different shades of orange, but now it has turned into a winter wonderland. It was quite an unexpected early winter. Last year it was warm….and only snowed a little bit in Bolzano. So this year it’s pay back time!!

Words just can’t describe how magical it is. Everywhere is covered with snow! Just take a stroll around town and you’ll be captivated by how different things look under a coat of snow.

This is my first white christmas….am utterly excited. Looks like it’s gonna be a dream come true, to the song “I’m dreaming of a white christmas~~~” =p. Christmas markets are set up in a few places, selling Christmas trinkets, candies, presents, etc. Children are running around with their Christmas caps, mittens and scarfs. It’s all so “christmas-ty”.

In times like these….I really wish my family and friends are around to share the magical moments together. I have no doubt that me and my siblings will have a great time, having a snow fight in the park. John and I can stroll the park and watch the snow fall.

I’ll continue to take more pictures….coz I can’t get enough of them!

During the weekend, my friends and I went to Klosterneuburg. Always around November 15th (feast day of Saint Leopold) the lower Austrian city of Klosterneuburg celebrates “Leopoldi” – with a Christmas market. We were there to savor the famous Gluwein and also to visit the majestic Klosterneuburg monastery.

Hi Sharon, yeah it’s really beautiful. I feel like I’m living in Narnia, especially when i see the street lamps =p.
But sometimes I do miss the warm sun rays back home.

Haha…How did those fellas park their cars and bicycles out in the open, and got them all covered after the blizzard. Have to do a lot of shoveling after that. No indoor parking?

Sarah: thanks….this year it’s cold here. I wish i could go to Japan and see mount Fuji. I can be your host if u come to Europe..and u can be my host when i go to Tokyo =). Anyway, u take care over there in Japan, get well soon !

John: they parked their bikes and cars there before the snow. It’s just like raining, u have to leave your vehicle out in the rain, in this case out in the snow. When they need their vehicles, they just brush off the snow =p.
