Latest happenings

This is what I’ve been up to lately….
From left:
Kreuzenstein
One sunday after church, my cell group decided to have a small trip to Kreuzenstein, a castle located not far from Vienna. We had a great afternoon there, just clicking pictures, talking and enjoying the scenery. photos

Wien Museum
Just discovered that certain museums and musicians’ old house in Vienna are FOC on sundays. Prerana and I decided to check them out, one or two at a time. We should be able to finish them before we finish our course! =)

Birthday celebration at Gut Aichhof
Gut Aichhof is an estate with a small castle. Johannah works there and her employer was gracious enough to allow us to use his estate to celebrate George’s birthday there. I liked the place a lot. Hope to return again, having picnic out in the fields would be perfect! photos

Piano recital
I watched the first piano performance the other day with my lecturer.
Performer: Paul Lewis
Programme:
1. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Fantasie c-moll K 475 (1785) and Rondo a-moll K 511 (1787)
2. György Ligeti: Musica ricercata / Elf Stücke für Klavier (1951-1953)
3. Franz Schubert: Sonate G-Dur D 894 «Fantasie-Sonate» (1826)
Enjoyed myself there…..especially with the last piece by Schubert….not so with Ligeti’s piece, the modern work.

Sunday School
My cell group helped out with Sunday School this week. We think that it will be cool to take it up as a ministry together as a cell group. We’re glad to be able to play a small little part, in helping these young kids to grow deeper in the Lord. The verse for the day was “..behold, to obey is better than sacrifice” 1 Samuel 15:22. Let it be a lesson to us too as we teach these little kids.photos

Here are my current updates…..

Hi Sarah!!
In Vienna, it’s starting to turn warm. I’m so excited…..and the flowers will bloom and blossom in no time!!

Hey Matt…. for me I like winter….though it can be cold and depressing at times. I like all the seasons except summer =p. Maybe because I am fed up with continuous summer for the past 23 years of my life.
