So many hobbies....but so little time, so little $$$

Yes, this is what I’m feeling. Not just me, Hannah agrees with me as well! I think I’m a very restless person, because besides work I need hobbies to fill the void.

Don’t you agree with me that certain hobbies are very expensive?? Photography for one. I have been eyeing on a Digital SLR, so I’m now trying hard to save up on one. After getting the body, I still need to get those expensive lenses!! Luckily we’re living in the digital photo age. Just imagine how costly it would be to develop every single photo taken!!

I love baking..but the ingredients are really expensive. And not forgetting those special tools needed. Hannah showed me her cake decorating kit, it looks like a plumber’s or an electrician’s toolbox, in it there are all the essential tools from pipping to frosting a cake. I want that too!! =p

Lately I’ve been dabbling with web 2.0. I find that AJAX is very powerful and I like the concept of a more interactive webpage. Facebook and google docs are very good example of how dynamic web 2.0 is. Currently I’m creating a new blog, which I will be unveiling pretty soon.

If I do all those, do I still have time to finish the books on my to-read list? What about my daily jog? What about the stack of conference papers that I was so determine to read?

See, so many hobbies, but so little time, so little money!!

Meanwhile, I will continue to seek inspiration and motivation from fellow hobbyist.

Check out the cake below…..

Kristy baked the chocolate cake and Hannah decorated it with fondant. keep it up girls, u are talented. Go for your dreams!!
