End of my nomading days

I have ended my nomading days…....Well, I hope I have.

For the past 9 years, I’ve been a nomad, living in a spot for no more than a year. There were constant packing, unpacking, moving and settling down in a new environment.

Here’s a very brief history:

1. May 2000 – April 2001: Bukit Beruang, Malacca
2. May 2001 – April 2002: HB4, Cyberjaya
3. May 2002 – April 2003: HB3, Cyberjaya
4. May 2003 – April 2004: Student apartment, Cyberjaya
5. May 2004 – 2005: Block D, Endah Ria apartments, Sri Petaling
6. 2005 – September 2006: Block C, Endah Ria Apartments, Sri Petaling
7. October 2006 – July 2007: Rainerum, Bolzano, Italy
8. October 2007 – June 2008: Pfeilgasse 3A, Vienna, Austria
9. September 2008 – December 2008: my uncle’s house
10. January 2009 – March 2009: Bandar Bukit Puchong
11. March 2009 – present: Bandar Bukit Puchong 2

Some weekends, I head home to my hometown in Seremban.

From this list, I can only show a fraction of my struggle and frustration of being a nomad.

Every time I move, I had to throw away so many of my not-so-important belongings. It pains me, but I’ve got no other choice. I have learnt to buy necessary things only.

Now I finally had the opportunity to gather all my clothes in a cupboard….and voila!!! I will have to stop buying clothes for awhile now.

Constant moving didn’t deter me from amassing “treasures”. I have boxes load of stuff stored away in John’s place and my hometown. Perhaps I shall write a blog post on my collection habits =p.

So yes, I am glad I have settled down…....and can finally call myself the lady of the house. Don’t expect me to move anytime soon, I am here to stay!! =)
