The Pumpkin Feast
8 October 2006, 05:01
The pumpkin feast is here!!! In conjunction with mid-autumn and halloween, there’s a fun-fare located in Walther Square, displaying pumpkins in every dimension and color, from 6th to 15th October.
There’s a bazaar, selling halloween trinkets and sourvenirs. The highlight is the pumpkin ‘castle’ exhibition, it’s something like sand castle, but this one uses pumpkins!
I’ve never seen soo many different kinds of pumpkins before! Apparently pumpkin not only come in round shape and golden in colour, they are also green pumpkins, bell shaped pumpkins…. I’ll let the photos do the talking.

How ‘gorgeous’ those pumpkins look! Unlike the one we ate two days ago which was real ugly by comparison! Anyway, if you have plenty of time and will like to ‘feast’ on these pumpkins, here’s a website that gives you plenty of ideas on how to do it (but then you left all your tools at home!) I am simply amazed at how many ways one can eat pumpkins, just as I am astounded by the large variety of pumpkins pictured here. But it is certainly a treat just to look at them, even if we can’t gorge on them!
