The True Meaning Of Christmas

It’s Merry CHRISTmas and not Merry XMas. The central figure of this festive season should be Christ, our savior, and not Santa Claus!! Jesus christ is the only reason why we are celebrating christmas.
If you are a fan of Futurama, you’ll definitely remember an episod on “Merry Xmas”, in it Santa Claus is a blood thirsty, evil robot. He goes around killing people on Christmas day, and everyone has to go into hiding to escape this horrible monster. Maybe this is what you get for omitting the true essence of christmas.
When people think of Christmas, they think of shopping, christmas tree, turkey, gingerbread cookies and above all, presents. There’s more to it than just commercial gimmick, that encourages people to spend. Yes, indeed it has something to do with presents. Jesus Christ is the best present of all!! God gave His only begotten son, to be the savior of mankind. What better present have we got than that!
So let’s put the true meaning back to Christmas. Take this time and opportunity to thank God for His wonderful present.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.”

hey mei sin… merry christmas n hepi new year. sorry for late wishes. our internet was down few days last week. I gave ms mak your email already but not sure wether she read it already or not. She always on leave recently. She even on long leave starting yesterday until 3rd jan. Will remind her of your email when she comes back ok..
